About her
I am outgoing and sociable with a love of cooking and entertaining at home. I am also interested in learning about and drinking wine.
I have sung in chamber choirs all my life but as my voice aged I changed to singing in the local community choir - a whole new realm of music genres! I have been teaching myself German (with the aid of Duolingo) for the past 6 years so I can communicate with my friends in Germany. I have recently joined a creative writing group which I love. I swim every day. I run a weekly charity quiz night at my house. I want to take up painting. I am heavily involved in fundraising and supporting many charities, both home and abroad. My philosophy in life is to look forwards and not backwards.

Ideally I would like to meet someone who has a broad range of interests in life but who would hopefully share my love of good food and wine. He would also enjoy classical music and going to concerts. Apart from these shared interests, I feel it is important to have mutual respect for each others independent lives and it would be a bonus if we learnt to share new experiences with each other. Keeping our minds open to new learning and keeping abreast of the changing times is one of my most important philosophies in life. It would be essential for any new companion to feel the same way.
