About him
I am a musician and writer and I go walking and dancing several times a week. I love the British countryside and favourite places are the Dorset Purbecks, the Lake District, Cornwall and Mull.
Photography of nature is a particular interest and I am a member of the RSPB, Dorset Wildlife Trust and the National Trust.
I have travelled widely in Europe, visited Colombia on a number of occasions to see family and spent two months touring New Zealand.
I like to go into London and elsewhere to visit art galleries and in the last few years I have seen the major exhibitions of Van Goch and William Blake.
I am a retired Environmental Scientist and now have the opportunity to write and perform my music.
At the present time I dance Modern Jive but I have also previously done ballroom and salsa dancing. I have been a keen tennis player in the past and have recently taken up table tennis.
I am an animal lover but not a dog person as I like to be free to travel or do things on the spur of the moment.
I am an open, outgoing person and my friends would probably describe me as sociable and witty but also I sometimes like quiet times.

I would like to meet someone kind, thoughtful, tactile, and loving to share life with. Someone physically active who loves walking and being outdoors in wild places, in woodlands and along the sea coast. It would be a bonus if you like dancing.
