I used to be a lawyer but now I’m a jazz pianist. How the mighty fall. I’m also a golfer and an all round good egg.
A bit more detail. I have 3 children who I brought up myself and a grandchild (that I didn’t). I’ve lived in various parts of the uk but have washed up in the bucolic south. I retired 3 years ago although I still do some legal work on a voluntary basis. I play piano in a band.
I read the Times, NYT and Spectator. I think that covers everything politically.
What else? Um…I do 50 press-ups every morning (my pecs are impeccable) and I’ve written a couple of string quartets (which, frankly, are pants 🩲).
I like to consider myself thoughtful, non-judgmental, empathic and a good listener (I was once a Samaritan).
On the down side, I overuse parenthesis and ellipsis…
