I am a happy, positive, independent and interesting person with lots of energy and zest for life. I love spending time outdoors exploring nature and travelling to new places around the world. I am musical, playing the double bass and I sing in a community choir. I am a very active person regularly hiking, open water swimming, playing pickleball, doing Parkruns and yoga. I read, mainly fiction, and like going to concerts, the theatre and cinema. I enjoy good food and wine. I have two grown up children and love spending time with them, my wider family and my friends. I have a soft spot for greyhounds and I'm mum to a beautiful old girl called Betty.
About her ideal match
My ideal match would be someone who is kind and caring, and has a sense of humour. I would really like to meet someone of a similar age or younger who shares my interests, particularly hiking and being outdoors. Someone who loves travelling and exploring, but is also happy to spend a rainy weekend having a lazy start to the day, reading the papers and watching a good film. It would be great if they are also interested in the arts, particularly classical music but it’s not a deal breaker.
