About her
I've recently moved from Ireland to Swindon, a temporary move before finding a more permanent place to call home but have yet to explore the neighouring counties properly. I still have a house in Ireland which I love going back to but having grown up in England, I'm now focused on settling down permanently here once more.
Im a divorced, independent woman, happy in my own company but it is always nice to share experiences with people of a like mind. At this stage of life I am determined to make the most of each day. I love to travel, Italy being my favourite country, but there are still so many places yet to visit and enjoy. My interests tend to lean towards the arty side of life - I enjoy music (most genres), art (both doing and viewing), theatre, literature as well as photography and gardening, with a smattering of history, politics and current affairs thrown in. If all that sounds too sensible and a bit too dry, I should say that I quite enjoy washing it all down with the odd glass of wine or two.
I enjoy getting to know people, I love a good conversation, I love to cook and enjoy having people for dinner, or meeting up for a bite to eat. I'm a good listener and am quite gregarious. I'm not religious at all but I have a healthy curiosity about life and all that it contains. I'd like to think that I don't take life too seriously and prefer to see the lighter side of life.
A quick post script regarding the photographs, I discovered that I don't have that many of me on file (I prefer to be on the other side of the camera) so some of the pictures here are a bit random. The profile picture was a selfie I took last week (I absolutely hate taking selfies and honestly I am not as serious as I look in the photograph). The other pictures are still fairly recent and may reflect more of my character than the profile pic.

This is a tough question to answer as I think there is no such thing as an ideal match and writing a list of the things I want in someone can be a recipe for failure.
However, it would be pretty good if someone enjoyed similar interests to mine, althoughnot essential. From a general character point of view, it is important to me that people are trustworthy and honest, hold values that I can respect, are actively interested in life, care about people and the world, enjoy a glass of wine and try to make the most out life.
A fairly generic list I guess, but one that sort of holds the ideal match for me.
