About her
I am newly retired and now have the time for extensive periods of expanding my passion for the arts and travel.
I am quite reserved until I have got to know someone but more than adept at holding my own in any social setting.
Friends tell me I have a a good sense of humour a good cook and loyal.
I adore opera and ballet ( Avant Garde and traditional) and go to the theatre often. I would love to find someone to discuss and share the joy I feel when I have been to see amazing performances and astonishing music.
I love to listen to classical music while I work and when I cook. Although I am far from and expert music is my joy and I will dip into anything from 60's to Beethoven.
I am never bored being in the natural world even in the most bleak environments you can find beauty.
I love to cook and experiment in the kitchen, its mostly edible and sometimes amazing. I keep a large bin in the kitchen to hide the failures.
In my tiny garden I will try my best to grow things, not always successfully.
I am happy in my own company, but there are some things that are so much better in the company of a significant other.
I hope to move over to the next phase of my life with someone with whom I can make and share amazing times. Here's hoping it will happen.

My ideal match, well there's a question.
Firstly I would like someone who would allow time to get to know each other, become friends, share our likes and dislikes, perhaps a meal or two together and visit somewhere, see beautiful scenery and historic places or anything we both enjoy and then see what happens.
For any relationship to work I would hope to see honesty, an ability to be open and once trust is established to be able to talk freely about everything and anything.
One of the prompts asks what would be a dealbreaker? Its difficult to say but after some consideration, a lack of honesty, openess, empathy or support in difficult times, that would be true in a friendship or a romantic relationship.
