I enjoy walking by the sea and countryside, dancing, going to concerts, cinema, having picnics. Going to Art galleries. Travelling...not cruises. Maybe a river cruise.
I spent many years in the country on a small holding with my family. We had two dogs, two cats, a pony, a donkey and a horse. I bred British Toggenburg/Alpine goats and sold their milk.
Life changed and here I am in a town !
Since retiring from being a volunteer with the Stroke Association, I have joined the University of the Third Age. This is an interesting group whereby one can learn many new interests. I have begun, as a beginner, with an Art group. I joined a garden group, which arrange garden visits and talks. I also joined a French speaking group to improve my knowledge. I do love France and their wines!
I have 3 grown up children with 8 grandchildren! Ageing from 12 years to 7 years. My eldest son lives locally with his family of 3 children, who keep me busy. My daughter married an American and they live in Ohio, USA with their 2 children. My youngest son and his wife emigrated to Perth, Australia with their 3 kiddies...
So lovely places to visit.
Although I have quite a busy life, my choice, I do get lonely particularly weekends and evenings. I am seeking friendship and companionship, particularly. It would be so good to meet someone who shares my interests and share yours.
I love animals but I do not have any pets now. I live in town by necessity, not.by choice. Although on a bus route, I drive around visiting family and friends and going places.
My outlook on life is to be positive and enjoy every day.
