About him
Hi.
I am easy going chap with an inquisitive mind, affectionate, and a playful streak. I am of Goan descent, a good mix of Portuguese/Indian cultures and educated at a Catholic boys’ school. I worked in the City and as they say out of the frying pan into the fire, Both define me through my humour and attitude to life, [love The Goon show, I’m sorry I haven’t a Clue BBC R4, The Great C4] an eternal optimist, who will find something positive even during the darkest hour.
Eclectic taste in music from Baroque to the Stones. Love all forms of the arts & culture and enjoy participating in sport and attending live events Wimbledon, Lords, Twickenham/Stoop …. Regularly visit London to enjoy all it has to offer and the delights of the countryside and seaside which are nearby.
I have been lucky to have worked abroad and travelled extensively through it and pleasure, however, lots of places still to see.
After a long career as a banker, to give something back to society, I became a local councillor and volunteered for a couple of local charities.
Retired in 2021 with plans on spending more time having fun, travelling and playing sport badly!
Have a wonderful daughter and a good group of friends and neighbours.
