Down to earth and happy with my lot. Love the out doors and enjoy slow cycling, hiking and gardening. Creative and curious about the world, enjoy talking about books, current affairs and films as well as the utterly mundane. I have great friends and a large lovely rambling family. I had a great career and since retiring I've done a fair amount of travelling and volunteering and feel lucky to have the time and energy to enjoy life. Sometimes I feel a bit of a stereotype...NT member, like visiting gardens, belong to a couple of book groups, Future plans include cycling some long distance paths in Europe (slowly in the sunshine!). Retirement is marvellous but it would be lovely to have someone to share it with.

I don't want to be prescriptive - hoping you feel you have had a life well lived and an appetite yet for plenty more.
