Current (and lifelong) interests:
When I travel, I visit buildings and gardens – no interest in the tropics, I always go north. Spent two years in India during high-school years and graduate school years at Cambridge. Working on my schoolgirl French. Considering moving abroad.
I've written 4 1/2 novels (some science fiction, mostly fantasy) and plan to self-publish in the coming year.
Heavy into classical music – I try to go to at least one concert a month. Raised on Bach and still somewhat Baroque-centric. Glenn Gould diehard. Big fan of chaconnes. I once listened to all 555 of Scarlatti’s keyboard sonatas. Dream trip: the Utrecht Early Music Festival.
All that said, I also love dance music. I'm currently learning kizomba, the world's most romantic dance.

Fanatically interested in design and aesthetics in all their aspects – MCM all the way.
Mildly introverted, socially skilled (I think!), warm. I like people and value conversation. Though I don’t cook, I would love to give dinner parties.
