Hello stranger,
Thank you for popping in.
I believe it was Albert Einstein who defined insanity as doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results. Well then, here I am doing something different. Quite out of character.
I'm a normal person who loves books and museums, is very fond of animals and long walks, tries to stop to smell the roses, and likes engaging in a conversation over a cup of coffee in a cozy cafe. Often I've been told that I'm patient, of calm demeanour, genuine and a good listener. It could be a curse, though, especially when some people take you for granted.
I simply love nature. It never fails to bring me comfort and solace whenever I'm feeling down. I can stare into a tree swaying in the breeze for a ridiculous amount of time. And watching daffodils, snowdrops and bluebells bloom is just bliss.
As for sports – and this is going to shock you, I know – I have never set foot in a gym in my entire life! Give me a good book, a good film and a good cozy quilt and I am all set. I've been trying Pilates lately, though. It's been very instructive so far: I've discovered muscles I didn't know I had, or haven't used in 20 years!
As for music, I simply can't imagine my life without it. And I have quite an eclectic taste, ranging from Mozart to BTS, and everything in between. Go figure!
I love, love, love London. So when it comes to this great city, I'm not objective at all. And for a melomaniac and film enthusiast like me, it's just heaven on earth. Can you imagine a better plan than visiting the National Gallery, the British Museum, the English National Opera or my beloved Tate Britain? Such a treat!
I'm not one for clubbing or twisting the night away, I'm afraid. And don't feel quite at ease in the spotlight. I'm that quiet presence in the background, listening intently to what people have to say, who prefers the shadow rather than the limelight.
