I have an optimistic outlook on life and appreciate that in others. My communication style is straightforward, honest and generous and I'm affectionate and funny - and would love to share those things in a happy relationship.
I’m recently back in Bath from living in Australia for 30 years and it’s interesting to adjust to the cultural and climatic differences! It’s been great to join an orchestra, I play the cello and sing in a choir for both the pleasure of music making and to make new friends.
I enjoy an eclectic mix of activities such as going to concerts, comedy clubs, hanging out with friends and family, muddy walks and political debates. I'm happy to join in with my partner's interests, share some together and pursue some of our own.
I love travelling to experience different cultures, visit historical sites and sit in places of outstanding beauty. I'd love to share the fun & excitement of travelling with a partner.
Whilst in Australia, I travelled quite a bit and enjoyed driving across deserts, walking in rainforests and sitting quietly to watch the amazing milky way.
In recent years, I’ve taken up going to gym classes where my sense of humour really helps get me through as I have some health issues which can curb my activities from time to time.
It’s always great to learn and do new things, especially something that exercises my ‘can do’ personality.

I’d love to be in a committed relationship but I’m not in a rush to live with someone again. Though living together is something I’m happy to consider in the future.
