About her
Now that I'm retired I split my time between NYC (mainly Manhattan) and the Hudson Valley. So everything from music (of course, and especially early music) to a garden is on the menu. I'm more of a walker than a hiker (knees, ouch), love to read despite some eye challenges, to practice my schoolgirl French and to travel. I love the traditional music and dance of many countries and am part of a Swedish and Norwegian dance group that meets regularly.
I also believe that it's important to know what's going on in the world. My politics lean left.

Someone who enjoys a good discussion, music, a good walk and who accepts people as they are. Extra points if he dances and likes to travel! City and country life are both important to me and I'd love to find someone who valued both as I do.
Someone once told me that he'd been very impressed by a speaker who said that the maker or breaker of a relationship is how you resolve a conflict. I suspect that's very true.
