About her
A recent transplant to Dorset, I have been hibernating for far too long and need to break free from the shackles of never ending (but almost complete!) home renovations. Happy, sociable, kind, emotionally intelligent, adventurous, a good and loyal friend- that's me. I’’m keen to try local restaurants and new local delights or just stay home. Together, we could make a sumptuous Sunday lunch or have a dinner party with good friends. I’m Canadian, so I BBQ in all weathers. Let’s create a reason to get dressed up and have a dinner date. A cuddle on the garden sofa wrapped in blankets with a fire and a snifter of cognac is good too. I love travel, adventure, exploring and entertaining, creating, being, endlessly tinkering around the house and listening to an eclectic range of music (of course!). I have had a brilliant career working and living internationally. It is rumoured (or perhaps a fact or we could agree I'm making this up) that the Dalai Lama said you must visit five new places every year. I try to do something new every week to keep things fresh and exciting- turn right instead of left, do point and drive holidays etc. I have no children but I welcome other people's and love family life- even if there are just two people in the family. Although my two dogs have shuffled off this mortal coil, I remain a steadfast dog lover. I'm looking for the same characteristics in my ideal man. Are you out there?
