I like to do things in stages, by building, adapting and amending. Perfection doesn't come instantly. Take this system: I launched my profile in the early hours of this morning after searching for the website and now I'm on my laptop I can manage input better.
I sing Bass-Baritone and I'm really interested in small-group performances in Musical Theatre or American Song Book, so if you sing or play an instrument I'm very interested.
I will go to plays, shows, concerts etc with you but watching other people perform is not a real passion for me unless its charitable and local.
I've been widowed for 10+ years now and "getting used to it" is not a hobby I wish to pursue in the long run. Finding someone takes energy, care, time, and a lot of patience...don't you find?
I have two adult married professional daughters (one with two boys) based in East Dorset and one of my aims is to move closer to them. That's not a given, however, because whoever YOU are will have a large impact on things like that. If I stay in the East Midlands or elsewhere then I'd be keen to visit the Bournemouth area frequently. I'm afraid that if you live north of the M62 I'm probably going to say no. Same for Wales and The West Midlands.
I've been brought up to be frugal but a lifetime in public service has brought me a very small income, a tiny cottage, and an old Qashquai. If you are looking for a top-down, hair in the wind, revved up, lifestyle, perhaps I'm not for you? I've parachuted but I don't have my own plane.
