I'm recently separared and new on here, also this isn't easy for me being a modest chap, however here goes:
I would describe myself as being down to earth, optimistic, energetic, honest, caring, loving and a trustworthy person who is deeply loyal to those I love and cherish. I'm an outdoorsy person, enjoy walking, hiking, love the beautiful Lakeland Fells, Yorkshire Dales, moorlands, meadows and coastal footpaths of Britain of which there are many still to explore

Now recently retired, I've plenty of time on my hands with the opportunity to take stock and concentrate on creating loving memories with my future life long soul mate.
When holidaying in Britain I enjoy off season cosy cottage breaks with log burning stoves and log fires.
I've always kept Black Labradors although sadly Ernie passed earlier this year, My outlook on life, as I embrace current changes in my life, is to find a soulmate, best friend and lover to share the rest of our lives together.
Please disregard my current location being Inverness, because in the early part of 2026 I am re-locating to the Midlands between Huntingdon and Northampton. However I am quite happy and fully prepared to move anywhere for the right person.

I would like to share the activities mentioned with my partner, however equally I would love to share in your interests and hobbies be it Antique fayres, museums, art galleries, concerts, gigs, theatre, opera, yoga, paddle boarding. I am really very open-minded and looking to expand my interests and experiences. I should warn you though I've given up on discos and nightclubs. A nice authentic Italian, Greek or Indian restaurant is more my scene nowadays.
