About him
I’m a gentle, easy going and home loving gentleman with a sense of adventure. I work hard and relax well, often with a glass of wine.
I worked for corporates for most of my career as an IT and business manager. My initial degree was in mathematics from London. I later followed that with a degree in humanities and music, followed by an MA in historical research. I find interest in many things in this wonderful life.
I now work as the manager of a credit union. I realise that I have had some privileges in my life, and now is the time to share my experiences and skills in the community, helping people who are struggling financially in their lives.
In my spare time I enjoy listening to music (mainly classical), visiting local places and walking in the countryside walks with my dog. I am fortunate to live in a lovely part of the country, full of history. I enjoy various cultural activities, including music concerts, opera, museums and art galleries. There are many and varied places to enjoy in this country, as well as abroad.
In 2026 I look forward to travelling more. I have travelled extensively in Europe - 2025 took me to Sweden as well as parts of Germany where I sang at the Dresden Advent markets. I'm looking forward to going further afield, perhaps on another cruise, but I would love to have the right partner to accompany me.
I have been separated for over 12 months. Divorce will complete February 2026.
