My friend’s partner described me as ‘sound’ the other day! It was definitely a compliment as he’s a private person who chooses his friends cautiously.
I’m kind, and have been brought up with manners, and I like the same in others.
Happy in the countryside, and love to forage. I rarely come back from a stroll with nothing to show for it, and love using what I’ve found in recipes. I also enjoy a yearly nose around London - there’s so much to see!
I’m sociable, and love to find out about folk’s backgrounds and cultures. I’m lucky that my job allows me this to a certain extent.
I’m a little bit musical, but admit that my flute, recorder and harmonica playing is few and far between….
Likes include starry skies, sunsets, sunrises, swimming outside in the rain, walks, especially near moving water, animals, gardening/growing my own, cooking, travel, good friends.
Happy in my own skin and don’t have hang-ups from the past. Excited about the future….

A man who is fit, healthy and strong would be nice. Someone with eclectic tastes who can hold a good conversation, but can also be quiet and thoughtful. Happy with your own company too. Sharing a fascination for people (and animals), travel, and good food. It’d be nice if you liked gardening.
A mutual physical attraction would be lovely, but I’m not holding my breath at this age! Perhaps an easy-going camaraderie enjoying days out and holidays would be a good feature of an important relationship…..
