About him
I can be quite reserved to begin with, but once you get to know me you'll hopefully find me interesting to talk to and fun to be around. I enjoy long walks, games of cricket, and picnics in the country, when the weather is good; I also enjoy reading, catching up with friends and family, and trips to the cinema. I'm retired now, so I have time to explore these interests, try something new, and hopefully share someone else's passions as well. I value kindness and empathy above most other things. I'm pretty left wing in my views - definitely a Guardian reader, Remain not Leave

Someone who is kind above all else, and slow to anger. Someone who believes climate change is real, and we need to do something about it. Someone who would enjoy regular contact, so ideally not too far away. Someone who wants to share as much as possible of life, based on a genuine friendship and connection. Not many dealbreakers for me, but smokers, Daily Mail readers and Reform voters will probably want to look elsewhere.
