About him
I will shortly be retiring and spending that time on my own is not at all appealing at the moment.
My interests include cooking, diy, gardening and eating out. I like a standard pub type meal but really enjoy fine dining.
I’ve recently joined a brass band, having picked up the cornet again after 53yrs.
Most of the pictures in my house are painted by me some years ago and I want to pick up my brushes again in retirement.
I need to get back into my ‘keep fit’ routine. I did all the Joe Wicks in lockdown and have been signed up to his on-line app since. A lot of the food I prepare are Joe Wicks recipes.
Some would describe me as a bit of a ‘petrol head’. I have 2 toys, one of which I’ve had 48yrs, and a couple of daily drivers.
I enjoy walks, theatre and most types of music.
I’ve not travelled much, other than for work, my late wife wouldn’t fly. I’d love to do some city breaks and maybe go on a cruise. There are so many things on my bucket list, most of which I don’t fancy doing on my own.
All of my family are happy with me moving forward in life and my late wife told me in a letter to go out and find happiness again.
