My friends would describe me as being strong, independent and resilient .I have a good sense of humour and love a good laugh .
I am still young at heart and love being with like minded people .

Hobbies :I was an avid swimmer in my early years . Sporty at school but the years have taken their toll . However I do have an exercise routine that I commit to 3 times a week .
Since retiring from the NHS I am involved in a number of voluntary roles which again involves working to support social inclusion .
My faith governs my life and while I'm no saint , I do try daily to follow Christian values .( Get it wrong most days so prayer is a part of my daily routine)

Finding this whole process very scary and daunting , but then I imagine that is the same for us all. This is new territory for me since losing my husband 4 years ago , but I'm willing to take a risk and see what the next chapter of my life may bring .
