About him
I'd love to say I'm talk dark and handsome, but "not bad" will have to do. Intelligent, concerned about environment & politics - woke is not an insult! I probably talk too much, but also try to be a good listener. I enjoy sailing and keeping fit (a bit of running & cycling), volunteer with the National Trust, love travelling (but not a fan of flying these days). I sing in a choir, love classical & rock music (a bit of jazz too), love mountains, the sea, and romantic sunsets, And cheese! And good wine! Having lost a wonderful partner, the things I miss are shared experiences - art, concerts, theatre, meals, and especially those moments of closeness. Although I'm a retired science teacher (physics, geology), I also speak pretty fluent French (have family in France), plus a few words of Greek, Italian & Spanish picked up whilst sailing.

My ideal match is intelligent and unafraid to voice opinions and emotions when necessary; passion can be expressed in many ways! She loves the arts (music especially) but also has an interest in the sciences. She enjoys walking along coasts and among mountains, and perhaps sailing a boat!
