I’m reasonably intelligent, not intellectual but wish I had been! I have an enquiring mind and am never bored. I value independence.
I like reading, listening to classical music and choral music up to a point. I paint with acrylics and oils and exhibit locally.
I follow politics and have a few opinions but have no particular strong party leanings.
I love the countryside, particularly North and East Yorkshire, County Durham and Northumberland but there are still various places in England I would like to visit, Devon, Cornwall and the Scilly Isles particularly.
I love France, Spain and Greece; Spain I visit regularly both driving and flying.
I have adventure and ‘the road less travelled’ in my blood.
