I am a retired technical translator who loves choral singing, painting (pictures, not walls), riding, dancing, volunteering, and going for walks on muddy estuaries. Looking for someone to share picnics with, make cups of tea for, and have giggles with about the absurdity of things.

I would like to meet a man who is kind and intelligent. I would enjoy getting to know his interests, and maybe he would share some of mine but I don't expect him to share all of them, especially not the morris dancing which I know most people think is just weird (it does keep me fit though!). I don't much like talking about politics but would get on best with a man who is probably left of centre and cares about the environment. He wouldn't be looking for someone smart and into fashion. I don't buy much new stuff. I have a new cat though, who is lovely and seems to like me. But she is not a man and doesn't hold my hand or ask me what I have been up to, this week. I'd like one of those, please, if possible.
