I am gregarious, enthusiastic, friendly and good fun - or so my friends tell me and I like to think they are right!! I certainly have a zest for life and enjoy music of all kinds, particularly classical & listen to Classic FM, singing, dancing, (I have taken part in amateur musical theatre productions for many years and hope to do so again when possible) walking and travelling, having been to Thailand Laos,Cambodia, Vietnam, and South Africa as well as cruising in the Norwegian Fjords and the Caribbean, It would be good to meet a fellow travel enthusiast as there are many more places I wish to visit both at home and abroad and the experience would be far better shared. I am originally from Essex but have lived in Sheffield for over 40 years and have no desire to return to the south. I have been divorced for a several years. I would far rather be outdoors (especially if the sun is shining) than looking round the shops or watchingTV unless of course it is pouring with rain (I am more a fair weather walker not enjoying getting soaked to the skin) but I do like to relax and watch TV or listen to music at the end of a busy day. I enjoy good food and wine, going to the theatre, particularly musicals but am open to developing new interests. I have occasionally worked as a Tour Manager for a holiday company in the UK. I am lucky enough to have plenty of free time to enjoy my varied interests (walking, singing,dancing, travelling) and seeing my grown up children and grandchildren.

I don't have any hard and fast ideas about who my ideal match should be - suffice to say that they should share my love of classical music, and enjoy walking and the outdoors as well as good food and wine and if they were keen to travel at home and abroad then that would be ideal.
