About him
A native New Yorker, I came here some time ago to take up a university post at the LSE. To my surprise, I soon found I felt more at home here in London. I enjoy an active cultural life here (opera, theatre, lectures) while still having plenty of time for lots of tennis and trips out for walks or kayaking. Still have my American accent, but have become very comfortable in my adopted city.
I am now a professor at another university where I have to commute, but still live in London. I am busy converting all my teaching to online at the moment, due to Covid. It is quite a challenge.

The women I have fallen for in the past have little in common with each other, so I don't think I have a 'type'. Clearly I am looking for a very intelligent woman with an active lifestyle, but beyond that I'll leave things to 'chemistry'.
