I am an eternal optimist hoping to meet someone with a sense of adventure & fun but who is also comfortable in quiet domesticity.
Music is all important to me whether performing, teaching or listening. I have had a wonderful life combining performing and teaching. Sadly all live performing stopped over the pandemic but luckily I had my piano and kept teaching on Zoom ( not ideal!)It’s so good to be back to normal again! When not making music I like to be outdoors either in my garden or exploring the countryside. I spent twelve years living in rural Surrey but have now relocated to Nottinghamshire to be nearer my daughter and grandchildren. I also have a son in Newcastle so enjoy visiting Northumbria with it's beautiful coastline. I am originally from Norfolk and love to visit family and friends there.
There are still many areas of the U.K. that I haven't discovered yet!
I have travelled abroad through work but still hope to explore the wilder areas of the world(my ideal companion David Attenborough!)
I am equally at home curled up on the sofa with a good book and a glass of red wine!
I enjoy a little gentle yoga.....it appeals to the spiritual side of my nature.
I am enjoying this new chapter in my life...it would be lovely to spend it with someone special. It is so much more fun sharing experiences with someone.......whether going to a concert, the theatre or visiting NT properties or just going for a country walk.
