Hi! I am open, honest and positive and feel that pretty well my life is well balanced. At heart I'm a romantic and I'm looking forward to finding someone to share some magical times! I am intelligent and have a good career so I am comfortable in my life but feel that I am missing someone special to share it. I try not to take myself (or life) too seriously and try to find humour in most situations and certainly I always look for the positives in life. I am definitely a glass half full kind of girl! I enjoy wit and a bit of banter and am flexible and adapt to most situations.
I adore the seaside and spending time by the sea but also love the countryside and nature. Having said that I equally love the bright lights of the city for dinner, theatre, cinema. I am therefore at home in wellies outdoors or can be smartly turned out for dinner or parties etc. A healthy mix of the two works for me!
I do enjoy travelling and have visited a variety of places. I love the bustle and vibrancy of India along with the peace and tranquility out in the more remote parts. I also enjoy seeing new places whether in Europe or further afield and hope to travel more. Having said that I enjoy exploring this country and have a home too by the sea which I can escape to from time to time which is lovely and peaceful. I love animals too and the joy they can bring.
Despite my love of travelling, I am as happy and contented at home in my old cottage... stoking up the log burner in winter. Hoping to find a partner to share the roaring fire (and help in its lighting!) and so stop me burning my fingers... I also enjoy photography, reading, love a good conversation, meditation (helps the balance!), learning new things, art and architecture. Happy to seek out new adventures and I'll try anything once!

Having a sense of humour and fun is important so not taking themselves too seriously would be a good thing! I am looking for someone who values openness and honesty and is happy with themselves. I am not looking for someone who is materialistic but someone who is happy and content. I hope that they will share a love of the outdoors and travelling to new places as well as having some interest in culture.
They would prefer a special dinner relaxing with a glass of wine (champagne is my favourite...) rather than out clubbing! Having their own hobby is fine as I love new things and would be interested.
