I enjoy reading, crosswords,theatre, cinema, walking, music (from Bach to the Beach Boys, Mozart to Motown and Boyzone to Brooks & Dunn !) I knit soft toys and make greeting cards for charity.
I hold a couple of Coffee mornings a year to raise funds for St Gemma's Hospice, near Leeds and i join in the World's Biggest Coffee Morning each year for Macmillan Cancer Support.
I am a member of a quiz team which helps the grey matter to work harder!
My faith is very important to me and i worship regularly at my local parish church.
The highlight of 2010 was a wonderful tour of New Zealand.
In 2011 I toured the music cities in the USA. My husband always wanted to go to Nashvillle,but never got the opportunity. My children encouraged me to go and it was wonderful.
I was born in the North East, so I have a North East Accent.
I am more of a good listener than a chatterbox.
I do not like politics but I like to keep abreast of current affairs.
