Hi there! Thank you for taking the time to read my profile.
I am a 62 year old widow looking for friendship in the first instance and someone to brighten my day, someone to chat and socialise with which may lead to more, depending on how we get on.
I have a quirky sense of humour and am looking for a like minded soul who enjoys a laugh and a joke. I am relaxed and easy going, enjoying life and believe it is for living and not for becoming upset over trivialities. I think I am a kind and considerate person and enjoy relating to other people.
I enjoy anything arty, most music (depending on my mood), laughing, being silly, walking on the beach in wellies and unflattering clothes then retiring to a snuggly pub for a welcoming bevvvie. Equally, chilling in the sun has its merits when in the presence of good company. I love to travel and have travelled to Australia and Europe on my own this year...rather scary but I have the philosophy that if I don't go for it then I will never know what it is like and I will never go anywhere! (and yes...I have swum with the obgliatory dolphins too!)
I also sing with a local amateur theatrical group where we produce 3 or 4 concerts a year, to raise money for local charities and although I don't consider myself a Diva...I do like the "scent of the greasepaint and the roar of the crowd" !! Although it is usually polite clapping !
I think life is an adventure, laced with its ups and downs and that each day offers new possilities which should be considered and acted upon. Everything is sent for a purpose and I would like to meet someone with a similar positive attitude.
I am looking for someone who has the same values as I have, who enjoys fun, making me laugh, a bit of banter and stimulating conversation, which I miss.
