I'm on this site simply looking for someone who I can truly connect with.
I'm a loyal, caring, compassionate and tactile person who, along the years, has matured enough to appreciate the importance of communication and compromise in a relationship.
I have varied interests, ranging from the arts to sport and current affairs. I'm equally as happy visiting a gallery as I am at a sporting event and also love live music. My musical tastes are fairly diverse and I often start the morning with classical/opera and then (always) listen to my favourite artist at some point during the day. Music is definitely important to me…it lifts my soul and always enhances my day.
I enjoy getting dressed up and (hopefully) looking glamorous for nights out, and generally take care of my appearance by trying to keep fit (with yoga) and eating/sleeping well. In fact, sleeping well is very important to me! I'm just as fond of cosy nights in, particularly in the winter…would be lovely with someone special.
I have one adult son and elderly parents, who I make sure I see regularly. I also have a busy working week and may therefore be limited in time when it comes to a relationship (particularly if there’s some geographical distance). I would, however, endeavour to adjust commitments and find more time if I was in a meaningful, long-term relationship.

I’m open-minded about the kind of man that I’d like to meet and don't have any preference for a particular 'type', but someone who’s outgoing as well as being a good listener would be brilliant. I’m attracted to people who are kind, respectful, thoughtful, intelligent and funny…not asking much! :)
Would love to meet a man of integrity. Also someone who I’m able to share a few laughs with and who may even consider watching my favourite team with me!
