About him
I am a divorced father of three children, two of whom are married and live with their respective partners and a son who is divorced and living with me on a temporary basis. I recently retired having been a professional musician who served in the Royal Air Force from 1968 until 2005 and then working as an auditor on a part-time contract. I enjoy reading autobiographies and am Chairman of the civilian welfare committee at the local Air Training Corps Squadron. I am not a 'loud' person, however I enjoy sessions of gentle 'banter' with friends who describe me as being 'somewhat mental'. I am currently a trifle overweight but am seeking to eat more sensibly and lose the excess. I enjoy all genres of music, however classical music takes precedence over the rest.

In an ideal match, I would look for a lady to be warm, friendly and cheerful. Ideally, she should be reasonably active by participating in occasional walks and enjoy sporting activities, if only by watching. My family are very important to me and it would be ideal if my partner could bond easily with them.
