About her
Widowed three years ago ago I have recently returned from working as a volunteer education advisor in the Extrteme North of Cameroun (West/Norht/Central Africa - I had to look at a map to find out where I was going!). I am currently awaiting a new placement. - who knows where? However, although this keeps me fully occupied while I am away recent trips home have made me realise that I really miss having some (platonic) company for dining out, theatre, concerts (classical) and other activities. Also perhaps to keep contact with while I am away - everything is better when one has somebody to recount it to / discuss it with. I am just re-learning to ride, enjoy ski-ing (at an elementary level) and although never any good at sports am prepared to try most things at least once.
I am more a country person than town - when home I live on a farm and I am
untidy and tend towards the chaotic (you don't want to see my car). Two largish
lively dogs are usually with me if I am travelling by car,and like me, enjoy
meeting and talking to new people. My time in Britain is usually divided between Northumberland & Scottish Borders.
Found some of the questions difficult - how many pounds extra constitute
'a few' ? How do I work out the scale of 'attractiveness' ? - it is possible to say
'ask me later' - but shouldn't this 'tell me later' ?!! Perhaps somebody out there will
make contact and help me.
There was also a question about how I felt using this site - true answer would be that I am terrified that nobody will even be reading this - never mind making contact. . Lots more to say though, if you make contact! (I knownthat several people have been enough to send me messages in the past and I have been unable to reply to them before the messages disappeared. I do apologize for this and will try to do better in the future!
