I love to go out walking with my dogs. I have a lively sense of humour but can't tell a joke to save my life. I love reading any sort of Crime or Historical novels. I also watch TV Documentaries, or Crime Dramas. I loathe Sit Coms & Soap Operas. I like to listen to music, mostly Classical, while I'm doing my housework. I also love watching any kind of dance programmes, I sing, not very well, in a local choir, which I enjoy very much and do some voluntary work.I am very much into History & Wild Life Conservation. I get very het up about littering , fly tipping & cruelty, of any kind, to animals. I should very much like to meet someone of like mind to share the good things in life, most of which seem to require two to really enjoy. I have recently returned from Australia, where I have been visiting my daughter. I have also been to New York a couple of times for the same reason. I sometimes wish she would stay put but she goes where her work takes her! If I had my choice of holidays I think I would prefer to explore Great Britain a bit more. There are so many places I haven't seen!

My ideal match would be someone who is laid back and not too worried about appearances (e.g. an odd dog or cat hair on his clothes). He must enjoy walking and quiet times together as well as doing things that are fun and exciting and make you laugh. He would have to be a good communicator, as I enjoy discussion, and most definitely not a 'yes' man.
