About her
I'm a happy and optimistic person, having got off the senior management treadmill some years back and now lead a balanced life of physical exercise complemented by intellectual, cultural and creative activities (I write - third novel in planning stage), also I’m learning a new language. I'm free of family responsibilities - I am a grandmother but not one with a childminding diary!
My music is always on. It varies from classical (trained violinist) to jazz or rock / blues depending on my mood. I also like world music. Now and again I pick up my violin or harp and tweak a few strings. I like to sing, for myself, but in public only in church these days.
I love concerts, theatre, visiting historic houses and gardens, cooking, walking, and gardening. Often to be found with my head in a book. I love to spend time at the coast and walk down to the sea most days.
Horses featured large in my life until 2 years ago. I have none now, and sadly no longer ride.
I'm seeking a kind-natured, intelligent man who actually wants a loving and synergistic relationship - not a prolonged email affair! Absolutely not seeking casual. You will enjoy being out in nature, and love music and culture. I don't want to spend all my time travelling the world, so if you're looking primarily for a travel companion please pass me by.
