Open-minded and perceptive with a good romantic side, I am hoping for some enjoyable times experiencing new things and places, with someone special.
Originally from London, now in my retirement years I am able to enjoy the coast and countryside. Considering myself to be intelligent, articulate and gentlemanly, I am open, honest, and appreciate the attributes of consideration, good manners and general savoir-faire. Healthy living and exercise are important to me; people who know me would probably describe me as easy-going - strong views on some things - genuine, loyal, independent, dependable, and financially sensible. Blessed with good parents and a close, supportive family I am thankful for overall good health and fitness. In many ways I am fortunate. Basically thoughtful, compassionate and sensual with traditional tastes and values, I am mindful of the environment and saddened by anything vulnerable or beautiful being abused or destroyed.
There is certainly an aesthetic side to my nature; although favouring classical these days, I have an appreciation for a wide range of music, history and art. I enjoy days out, cafes, intelligent conversation, reading, personal finance; also have an interest, without being nerdy, in computers, cars, manual skills/DIY and finding out about things. But...there's something(one) missing... Able to derive pleasure from simple, everyday things, importance is placed on peace of mind and being able to have privacy and quiet when needed.

I would love to meet someone who is honest, solid, intelligent, trusting and caring, and who would, like me, always have time and attention to give to that someone special. A person who, whilst knowing her own mind, would also be understanding and prepared to compromise. Relationships need to be worked at and I am hoping initially to be matched with, and attracted to, a feminine, positive lady with whom to share and enjoy some good times and special feelings.
