Hi,
I am reviewing life now the kids have left home and there is time to do what I want to do - if I knew what that was. So much choice, so little time and it would be nice to find new firiends to do things with.
So who am I? I'm in my mid 50s, love travel and meeting people, but do far too much of both for work. I'm interested in history, art, pubs, a little light gardening, the occasional visit ito a concert or the theatre and lots of long walks . I like computers and exploring their potential and I once went on a date to a scrap yard - and another one to the House of Commons. I've been a journalist, a political lobbyist and a civil servant. Right now I run my own business - with a fair degree of success. My kids tell me I'm good company and they still go on hoiliday with me so it might be true. They also tell me I am argumentative, opinionated and know far too many pubs in too many places. it would be fun to find some more.
