About him
I guess that we all like people who like what we like, but the delight is in finding people whose character illuminates new facets of your own life and character AND for whom you can do the same :-) I guess that's what I'm looking for.
Me ? I think of myself as open-minded, creative, insatiably curious about certain things ... and as I mature (like wine or is it cheese ?), I am more appreciative of the sensuous pleasures of life, even in everyday things ... (like cheese, LOL !)
Many interests, too numerous to list ... ask me about them ! I am a regular attendee at Modern Ballroom & Latin American dance classes and I've just started making my own wine at home after being given a home-brew kit for my birthday. A friend who knows about these things said my first attempt was "eminently quaffable" ... I think that meant that it was "OK". I have travelled a bit in the US (though not for a few years), less so in Europe. I have lived in different parts of the UK though Bristol has been home for many years now.

Like all men, I like attractive women ... but of course, "attractive" is something that's different for each of us, it's that "je ne sais quois" that you can't quite put your finger on ;-) Looks ? Yes, good looks are important to me. You can see my pic - whether my looks ring your bell, only you can say ! Either way, each to their own. But it's not just that ...
What I can say is that I *adore* women that are intelligent, stylish, compassionate, creative, spontaneous and open to new ideas and experiences. Age is largely irrelevant, but I like a woman who can also think for herself, somebody who is not constrained by what her friends, peers or society sees as "normal".
