About her
I have taken early retirement from the job from hell and started to learn to chill! I have a keen sense of the ridiculous. I am an optimistic, loyal person with a good sense of humour. Although I enjoy going for walks with the dogs, I am equally happy curling up in a chair with a glass of wine and reading, or going out with friends for a meal or to a concert (including gigs). I sing with the Poppletones and have recently taken up yoga and bridge. I try to swim most mornings at the local gym. My daughters have encouraged me to drag myself into the 21st Century and sign up here. Now they have both Ieft home, I am free to please myself so I have moved back home to Yorkshire after years of exile in the West Midlands and am hoping to meet new friends. If we get on well, who knows where this might lead?

Now this is the difficult bit - how can I categorise a person without it sounding either like a shopping list, or like I am either too picky or not picky enough? I would hope to find a caring person who both listens and talks about a range of topics. A keen sense of humour and ability to laugh with others are both important. I am hoping to meet someone who is both trustworthy and considerate. I definitely want genuine responses as I am looking for at least friendship but also someone who could maybe offer more. As I have been on my own for many years now, my ideal match would probably need to be patient enough to let me have my own space on occasions lol!
