About him
I've been single now for several years. My two kids (16 & 18), who I have part time, have kept me occupied. To fill in the spare time I play badminton 2/3 times a week, try and get out for a walk at the weekend (pub included), and as I live on the edge of the Peak District, that's easy. I always manage to get away skiing at least once a year with the kids, and usually a 'cheap ski holiday' without the kids!
I have reached a point where I have both the time and the money to indulge myself, and would love to find someone with which to share such things as weekends away, trips abroad, concerts (usually classical), cinemas etc..., or just afternoon tea in Derbyshire (hang on, where's me slippers and pipe?!!).
I reckon I'm relatively fit (creaking knees permitting), laid back/easy going, relatively intelligent (but no nerd), fairly good cook (although, a night in with pizza and red wine takes some beating) and happy in jeans but scrub up pretty well for Black Tie.
Recently got an urge to travel Spain using Parador hotels, in an open topped sports car - now all I need is someone to share the experience!
