About him
I have recently moved to Cumbria to a lovely house on the edge of the Lake District. It is really beautiful with its own barn - which even has resident barn owls! This summer I had six barn owl chicks - I have added photos of three of them taking the air before leaving me.
Other than a special relationship I have everything I could wish for. I'm content with doing things like baking my own bread; going for walks; gardening; sitting by my log fire with my cat, Rosie, on my lap; reading a novel. I have just retired from the NHS as a medical secretary and also from my voluntary work as treasurer for a local natural history society.
I am looking forward to exploring the Lake District.

Well, obviously she must like cats, and it would be better if she also was content with the simple things in life - not always chasing excitement or wanting to be somewhere else (e.g. holidays abroad) Sorry, but with my skin I can't do sunny holidays. In order for me to respect her, she should share my concern for the environment.
Whilst I like to listen to music in small doses, I value quiet times - I couldn't stand living in a house that was always filled with noise from a TV, radio or music centre. There is nothing like the music of a cat purring.
