About her
In retirement, I find myself wishing for a companion with whom to share fun times. A love of the Arts features strongly in my life but I also know how to enjoy the less serious aspects of life. Having been born in the Far East and finding myself in the West, it is evident that I have done some traveling. In fact, I love traveling.
I have a sense of humour which does not necessarily mean I can make people laugh, especially as I always forget the punch line of a joke! My friends sometimes accuse me of being more of an Eeyore than a Tigger but I have my moments of extreme optimism. Let's just say I have a realistic view of life.
I am not a raving beauty - more of an interesting face and figure - but then, beauty is always in the eye of the beholder.
The person whose company I would enjoy would be someone comfortable in his skin with a penchant for the good things in life, these to include reading, music, traveling, the theatre and cinema, walking dogs, eating good food, and of course adventuring.
My appearance is unimportant, my personality isn't but as I am different things to different people I can only describe myself as often liked, occasionally misunderstood.
