About her
Hello and here goes.... friends have told me that I am a lively, humorous, intelligent, well travelled and a compassionate person. I have had an interesting life so far, but that's a story for another day! There are more chapters to be lived and to share experiences with someone special would be wonderful. I love visiting foreign shores and exploring the UK too!
I've had many challenges in my life including being a Nurse, an Army Officer and a Mum! I am semi-retired and am working part time in safeguarding children.
I enjoy running, Wado Ryu karate and occasionally skiing. I also like to watch international rugby, in particular the Six Nations Championships. Always having the cup 'half full' attitude with a sense of humour is useful to survive the banter!
I'm positive, caring and outgoing, keeping me young at heart. I am hoping to meet someone with similar characteristics. Some of my favourite times have been when I am enjoying laughter and conversation with good friends. I have two great children of 20 and 18 that are growing up fast and becoming independent!
