About her
I have been called "Renaissance Women" largely because I keeping moving forward, getting involved with new activities, both business and cultural. For some years I was actively involved in politics and served as a Councillor for twelve years, leading my Group for four of those years. Now I am a member of two Scottish Government Advisory Bodies. Also I am a Director of Edinburgh International Festival, Friends of the Royal Scottish Academy and have just finished a term as a College Governor. I serve on the Advisory Council of the British Heart Foundation, Scotland.
My first novel, [removed] was published at the end of 2009 and I am currently working on its sequel [removed]. Both are contemporary Scottish family sagas. The title represent the name of the house at the heart of the family. I am a trained and experienced broadcaster on both television and radio. I undertake regular speaking engagements and have recently studied Philosophy and the Powers of the Mind. I have just accepted a post as Arts Editor of a leading Scottish magazine.

I am looking for a man to whom integrity matters, who loves life, travelling and music, the Arts in general and who is free to enter a relationship based on equality and compatibility. Integrity is very important to me, as is a good, witty sense of humour. Also as I am an energetic individual myself I want a man who has high levels of motivation and energy.
Thus far I have enjoyed a fascinating and challenging life and would welcome someone who has also travelled along an interesting and fruitful route to where he is today.
Fitness is important to me and my own favourite sport is swimming. However, I also enjoy horses and it would be good if he shared my enthusiasm, including horse racing.
