About him
Right, here goes. I'm friendly, active, warm, positive and thoughtful, and love sharing the funny side of everyday life with irreverent humour and political incorrectness (provided it's not offensive). I like being with friends, visiting new places, the great outdoors cycling or walking, or just peacefully being.
I'm a music, documentary and drama man rather than soaps or shows (especially reality TV- ugh!) - and good comedy is wonderful- so it's mainly Radio 4/ClassicFM/BBC 2 and 4 for me. I love genuine enthusiasm, interest, discovering or learning new things, so I hate pretence or dumbing down (I also hate greed, exploitation of people and our planet, rapping, and sandals with socks).
What else gets me? That first cup of coffee in the morning, wild spring flowers in the woods, climbing a hill and drinking in the view, coffee with friends, a winter's evening by the fire, arms around each other as we fall asleep, waking on a holiday morning with nothing and anything to do, sunlit waves crashing on the cliff base, the undersea world though a snorkel mask...
I'm lucky to have a lot of great friends, excellent health, a rewarding job, lovely family, and I enjoy looking after myself, but I'm missing the intimacy, warmth, depth and delight of that special woman with whom to share a lot of fun, exploration, pleasure and passion in living and loving.
