About her
I have been a full time carer for the past 14 years and have missed out on a great deal in life. I am really full of life and fun to be with (so I have been told by a long term friend ) - I was born and brought up in Edinburgh and married and brought up my own 3 children there - all went to private schools.
I miss Edinburgh from the cultural side and in days gone by, during the era of "dinner parties" I was always on the ball! I am from a professional background and have various affilitations with HM Services and spent the best years of my young life as a "naval widow".
I long to meet someone who can appreciate my skills such as excellent cook, hostess, very talented musician (classical) having spent many years teaching piano both in and out of schools. I listen to Classic FM every day almost 24 hours a day and can identify almost every recording played and I particularly like John Suchet programmes.
I owuld love to meet an active professional personal who is from the old school and knows how to treat and respect a lovely lady. I have a heart of gold and often this is abused! My children (3) are all over 30 and I have 3 grandchildren.
I enjoy playing tennis, swimming, dog walking - would be nice to have a companion alongside, would love to take up golf in such a unique location for the sport - but could do with some encouragement. I am learning to play Bridge - slowly! I love quizz programmes and have recently been short listed to appear on "The Weakest Link" but all is not certain yet for the final selection.
I am a courageous lady . I dress very smartly not funky, and am very much a string of pearls lady if you know what I mean.
I hope there is someone out there who would like to meet me sooner rather than later. I shall be uploading a photo in due course perhaps over the next week or so. Love to go on holidays (when I can!) I have 2 Jack Russell terriers who keep me going.
