About her
I'm a good listener and people tend to confide in me. I have travelled a great deal as my ex-husband worked abroad, so I'm quite well informed and not afraid to voice my opinions - which aren't generally very pc! I'm a 'fishatarian' and like cooking - and even more eating, especially puddings; I love finding good pubs, particularly country ones. I'm a great reader and am learning german at present. I hail originally from the Black Country and go back from time to time to Symphony Hall to catch up with 'my' orchestra the CBSO. I also like to hear traditional folk music (acoustic) in pub sessions, - and even Bavarian music at The Boot in Histon where everyone lets their hair down and ends up dancing on tables - something I never thought I'd be doing in my sixties!
I'm no scientist but I enjoy going to the astronomy lectures here in Cambridge and my great ambition is to see the northern lights one day.

I'd like someone who takes care of himself - though not a fitness fanatic! I'd like him to want to take me out - though not necessarily pay - for good meals, concerts etc. I'm in the U3A so someone who likes to keep on learning would be attractive to me; however I'm the sort of person who likes to let their hair down occasionally so he wouldn't have to be too serious! Someone to laugh with, eat with , listen to music with, go shopping with - if possible! - and yes, to be sensuous with, would be ideal.
