About him
As a former successful advertising copywriter and creative director with some time on his hands, I now want to write for myself. Yes I'd like to be a successful author and poet, but I'd be kidding myself if I pretended that this won't happen without a lot of hard graft and dedication. And, if I'm lucky, maybe a special someone who reads this might like to make the journey with me. She may have her own dreams and interests to pursue, in which case I'd support her all the way.
I read a lot and my enjoyment of music embraces anything from J S Bach to Joe Bonamassa. I enjoy the atmosphere and a decent pint in a classic English pub, eat a healthy diet most of the time and I can cook well enough. I follow most sport and would like to visit the theatre and cinema more often. For exercise I enjoy walking and a daily spin on the exercise bike.
I love female company and dream of meeting a lady to treasure and cherish. Yes, I'll probably write poems for and about you! And you? I don't mind if you're a little bit shy or more outgoing and independent. And it's good to laugh together. I just want anyone close to me to feel happy, secure and wanted.

Our chemistry would be very important to me. Someone who enjoys some quiet times together just as much as a busy social life or catching up with her own friends on a regular basis. An interest in music (all kinds) and the arts would be good but not vital to a successful relationship. Being happy and relaxed in each other's company is more important. A little shy or quiet is not a problem as I'm hardly an extrovert myself. A bit of an interest in sport would be welcome. Just don't expect me to join you in white-water rafting or rock climbing!
Hopefully she'd enjoy cosy pubs and the West Country.
Physically she would be on the slim/slender side of average and no shorter than 5' 2" up to 5' 11" maximum. Someone who takes pride in her appearance, whatever she is wearing.
