About her
I would love to meet someone who, like me, enjoys walking and exploring new places, going to the theatre and concerts. I enjoy both listening to music and playing it in orchestras and informal groups, both classical and folk. I play double bass, saxophone, and also play melodeon for women's clog morris dancing and sing in a folk choir The realisation that being in the 'vulnerable' age group increases my determination to make the very best of what I hope will be many years of life left to enjoy
I have two wonderful adult sons who are the light of my life but we don't get to meet up as often as I would like due to distance. We keep in touch as much as possible - we all need to look out for each other at the moment.
I have lots of energy and enthusiasm for life, definitely a 'glass half full', optimistic person, pretty laid back and not easily stressed.
I hope to meet someone with a similar enthusiasm for life and energy to share activities and also introduce me to new ones. Hopefully it will be someone who enjoys the countryside as I would like to get out more and I have well worn-in walking boots. I hope someone will inspire and accompany me - not that I spend my time watching television. I don't watch soaps - far too many other interesting things to do, and my interest in sport is limited to the signature tune for 'Match of the Day'.
I would love to travel and see more not only of the world but of our own beautiful country. I do sometimes holiday alone but it would be much more fun with a companion to share experiences and good conversation.

I would love to meet an enthusiastic, patient, friendly and caring gentleman, preferably a music lover. but chemistry on meeting is more important than words which try to describe the 'perfect match'.
My ideal person would be genuine, sincere, honest, kind, considerate and flexible, tolerant of differences with a wide range of interests which hopefully include music and perhaps they will introduce me to new interests. Someone who enjoys folk festivals and ceilidh dancing would be fantastic, though definitely not obligatory but enthusiasm is more important than expertise. Participation is not essential and the live music is great to listen to.
