About her
Hi, I'm an easy-going, active person with a good sense of fun. I enjoy keeping fit and exercising regularly (although I'm not obsessive about it) but also enjoy just watching the world go by and relaxing with a glass of good red! Family is important to me and since retiring I have been able to spend more time with my four wonderful grandchildren. I have two cats, Florence and Jacob, but also like dogs which I have owned in the past - so if you don't like children or animals I'm probably not for you! Also since retiring, I have also been enjoying improving my horse-riding and golf both of which I started to learn about three years ago but have neglected for far too long. I also enjoy cycling, swimming and walking. My other interests include astronomy (Sir Patrick Moore is sadly missed) and egyptology. I enjoy theatre, cinema, and have varied tastes in music - from Mozart to Mercury and so much more in-between. I've been fortunate enough to travel to some wonderful locations and I enjoy experiencing different cultures. I'm a hopeless romantic and eternal optimist who hopes that one day that 'frog' will turn into my prince - I love holding hands across a restaurant table and would like to meet that special someone who would enjoy that too, someone who can spoil me as I would like to spoil him. This is a difficult one - I know what I DON'T want (no tattoos or piercings for a start) so I think I'll just wait and see who comes along, it's all down to chemistry after all! Initially, I would like to meet someone who would like to share evenings at the theatre/cinema, good restaurants, weekends at home or away, and holidays. If that someone grew to be my best friend and soulmate, what a bonus that would be! I'm not a sun-worshipper (although I do like to relax in the sun), and certainly don't want to lie on a beach or pool-side for weeks - don't get me wrong, I don't want to be on the go all the time, do like to relax, but certainly not for the entire time away when there's a fantastic world out there to explore! Oh yes, and if you wouldn't mind the odd quick break to Paris at least once a year, that would be pretty good too!
